I was born in the U.S. and grew up in Jordan where my interests in science and engineering started developing. I always had a passion for finding solutions to challenging problems. I received my Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Jordan University of Science and Technology. During my time there, I worked on a project that was focused on reducing the environmental impact of two industrial hazardous waste materials and producing valuable metals from that process. Over the course of my undergraduate studies, I interned as a research assistant at Jordan Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company, and as a Process Engineer at Jordan Petroleum Refinery Company.

My current research project in the Abolhasani Lab focuses on the development of a flow chemistry platform for continuous nano-manufacturing of colloidal semiconductor nanocrystals.
