Marjan Kashfipour received her Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tehran (Tehran, Iran) in 2011. She obtained her M.Sc. (2015) and Ph.D. (2019) degrees in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at The University of Akron. The major focus of her graduate studies was on (1) studies of surfaces, interfaces, and nanomaterials using atomic force microscopy, and (2) polymer synthesis, and (3). designing thermally conductive polymer composites. The majority of her Ph.D. investigations were related to thermal conductivity enhancement of nonconductive materials.
As a postdoctoral research associate in the Abolhasani lab, she is investigating the continuous flow processing for carbonylation reactions.
