Muzammil Khan

I was born in Maharashtra, India. I consider myself fortunate to get wonderful teachers in my high school who inspired my interest in Science. The interactions with my teachers are some of my best memories and helped me to carve my career in research. After my B. Tech. in Chemical Engineering, I started my research career as a Ph.D. scholar in National Chemical Laboratory, Pune, India with Dr. Vivek Ranade. My Ph.D. studies in collaboration with industry were focused on understanding reaction engineering and transport aspects of systems involving four phases in flow reactors. This involved a good balance of mathematical modeling, simulation, and experimentation with direct industrial applications.
I am currently a Post-Doctoral researcher in the Abolhasani group. My work here involves Chemical and Process Systems Engineering coupled with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
