I was born and raised in India, and ever since high school, I loved science and wanted to explore a field where we could apply science to solve our environmental issues. So, choosing chemical engineering came naturally to me. I received my Bachelor's degree from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad, India. My very first exposure to laboratory research was during my undergraduate thesis, where I worked on - Transition Metal Oxide-based Nanoparticles for Energy Storage Systems. Working on this project gave me hands-on experience in the synthesis and characterization of nanoparticles. During my undergrad, I was also involved with the Indian Institute of Sustainable Development, where I was exposed to the real-world applications of chemical engineering in a sustainable society. All these experiences motivated me to pursue graduate studies and delve deeper into the nuances of chemical engineering.
