I received my B.Sc. from China University of Mining and Technology (CUMT) and my M.Sc. in thermal engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST). During my undergraduate studies, I developed a growing interest in chemistry-related research topics, which motivated me to pursue a master’s and focus on research of low-carbon energy/chemical conversion and sustainable heterogeneous catalysis domains.
My knowledge and experiences so far have convinced me that the future of catalysis and material discovery will be increasingly smarter and autonomous and reinforced my commitment to contributing to advancements in this field. I am excited to be able to work on ML-assisted chemical transformation processes using self-driving fluidic labs here in the Abolhasani Lab.
I love exploring different coffee brewing methods, trying beans of various origins and blends, and practicing my horrible latte art in my spare time.
